The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean We had a fantastic dinner and 2 amazing breakfasts in the restaurant. We would highly recommend this hotel”

“Exceptional stay with my family! We booked the “Annie Package” for a two night stay and enjoyed a few plays (all walking distance on a beautiful fall day) and the wonderful hotel amenities. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The kids loved the ‘cookie hotline’ (an array of warm cookies delivered at all hours of the day), pool spa and games onsite, while we enjoyed the peace and comfort of the rooms, fine dining (served family style - the pastry chef work is absolutely delicious), well equipped gym and even managed to get through the newspaper each morning over coffee (and hot chocolate for the little ones). The staff was extremely friendly, the grounds were beautiful (we even managed to work in a chess match on their outdoor board) - we had such a fun and relaxing time. What a gem!!!”

“From a friendly greeting upon arriving at a private function to the retrieval of my coat at the end of the night, my experience at The Bruce Hotel second to none. Staff were courteous and able to assist with the smallest of requests. But it was the dinner service that won me over. Each course, perfectly paired with a wine selection and uniquely presented, was absolutely delicious.”

“Just 2 locals meeting for Brekki! We really had a lovely breakfast. Service was really excellent and friendly. Just a tip! Higher Quality cutlery needed. Real British breakfast sausages not what we were served. Send servers uniforms to the house laundry. Our servers white blouse was no longer white! It managed to retain old stains from times gone by, unsuccessfully attended to. It just didn’t look good. Will I return, absolutely. I want to give them another chance. Perhaps it was an off day.”

Delicious tea sandwiches on house-made breads, exceptional desserts, an internationally-inspired tea selection, plus a personal tour of the hotel. Fabulous all around. “Spent 2 nights at the hotel and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were huge and the team went out of their way to make our stay accessible (shower chair, assistance with luggage). We loved the wonderful service and all the little extras: cookie hotline, umbrellas, fortune cookies at night. The pool and hot tub were beautiful and we enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings.”
